Sarah Silverman leaves the funny business behind with a touching tribute to her dog.
The comedian penned an emotional obituary for her dog, Duck, who she put to sleep earlier this week. Silverman, who owned Duck for 14 years, will tug on your heart strings while she relives what the pooch meant to her, especially with the end of the obit:
14 years.
My longest relationship.
My only experience of maternal love.
My constant companion.
My best friend.
Duck."
It's probably the most poignant tribute given to a dog by a celebrity since the late Jimmy Stewart discussed his dog, Beau, on 'The Tonight Show.' Check it out below:
