UNDATED (AP) — The Miami Heat turned a rout into a thriller before stretching their winning streak to a team-record 16 games..

LeBron James capped his 26-point night by hitting a go-ahead layup with 3.2 seconds left in the Heat's 97-96 triumph over Orlando. Dwyane (dwayn) Wade added 24 points for Miami, which saw a 20-point, second-half lead become a five-point deficit.

Chris Bosh chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Heat improved to 45-14, good for a 7 ½-game lead over New York in the NBA's Eastern Conference.

Also in the NBA, Tim Duncan and Tiago (tee-AH'-goh) Splitter each had double-doubles in San Antonio's 101-83 rout of Chicago. Duncan finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Splitter added 13 points and 10 boards, and Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo jih-NOH'-blee) chipped in 18 points and nine assists.

Blake Griffin posted his third career triple-double, finishing with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers beat Milwaukee 117-101. Jamal Crawford had 25 points and Matt Barnes added 20 in the Clippers' 10th victory in 13 games.

Jerryd Bayless scored all 13 of his points in the final 13 minutes as Memphis rallied form 17 points down to beat Portland 91-85. Marc Gasol (gah-SAHL') finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Mike Conley added 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting in the Grizzlies' 10th victory in 11 games.

Klay Thompson made the go-ahead 3-pointer with 7.5 seconds remaining and finished with 20 points as Golden State slipped by Sacramento 87-83. David Lee had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors, who overcame 18 turnovers and 36 percent shooting.

Raymond Felton poured in 26 points and the Knicks pulled away by scoring 16 straight points in the fourth quarter of an 87-77 win over Detroit. Amare Stoudemire finished with 22 points and J.R. Smith added 20 while the Knicks played without Carmelo Anthony because of a knee injury aggravated in Tuesday's victory at Cleveland.

Atlanta's three-game skid is over after Jeff Teague (teeg) scored 27 points and Anthony Tolliver added a season-high 21 in a 107-96 win against Philadelphia. Tolliver's season high had been 13 points before he shot 5-for-7 from three-point range.

Boston erased a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter and beat Indiana 83-81 on Jeff Green's uncontested layup with 0.5 seconds left. Kevin Garnett scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and threw passes for the tying and winning baskets.

Kyrie Irving scored eight of his 20 points in the final three minutes to help Cleveland turn a 100-92 deficit into a 104-101 win over Utah. Irvine also had 10 assists, and Tristan Thompson added 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Brooklyn trailed by 10 before outscoring Charlotte 56-25 in the second half of a 99-78 rout of the Bobcats. Deron Williams had 20 points and eight assists, while Joe Johnson added 22 points to the Nets' second win in six games.

Kobe Bryant scored 13 of his 42 points during a game-ending, 20-0 run that lifted the Los Angeles Lakers past New Orleans 108-102. Dwight Howard had 20 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks for the Lakers, who trailed by as many as 25 and were down by 21 in the final minute of the third quarter.

O.J. Mayo had a career-high 12 assists and scored five straight points that gave Dallas a 107-104 lead in a 112-108 win over Houston. Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion each scored 22 points, while Mayo finished with 13.

DeMar DeRozan scored 15 points and Amir Johnson added 14 to lead Toronto to a 98-71 victory at Phoenix. Seldom-used Sebastian Telfair scored 13 points in his return to Phoenix as the Raptors ended a five-game losing streak.

Ricky Rubio had 15 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and six steals as Minnesota knocked off Washington 87-82 to end a six-game losing streak. The Wizards led by eight until Rubio's defense keyed a 21-9 surge by the Timberwolves over the final 9:30.

UNDATED (AP) — Pacers forward Danny Granger could miss another week with a sore left knee. Granger missed the first 54 games with the same injury and sat out the second half of Sunday night's victory over Chicago after aggravating the injury. He has led the Pacers in scoring each of the last five seasons.

And Utah Jazz starting center Al Jefferson missed his third straight game because of a sprained left ankle. Jefferson was averaging 17.7 points and 9.4 rebounds when he was injured in a loss to Atlanta last week. Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said there is no timetable on Jefferson's return.
