Labor Day Weekend is coming and Casper Fire Fighters will be out for their MDA  Fill-The Boot event.

Firefighters are a special breed, because risking their lives to save others is highly commendable occupation. Get a glimpse of what it takes to be a firefighter up close and personal on Saturday.

Mark your calendar for the 3rd annual “A Day in the Life of a Firefighter“!  It's an exciting, interactive day that kids can spend with Casper Firefighters. Day 2 of the 2012 Downtown Throwdown saw many things. It saw heroic feats of strength, incredible demonstrations of agility and endurance, and yes, winners being crowned. Casper saw many of it's fire stations move on to the national competition that will take place later in the year, but all of the men and women that competed over the weekend proved that, if we're ever in danger, we'll be in good

As a man, nothing makes me feel like less than...um...a man than by watching firemen run, climb, lift, and more. So imagine how effeminate I feel whilst watching the Downtown Throwdown. Firefighters from all over came to Casper to demonstrate who exactly is the alpha-male. They all proved themselves worthy, but there is still one more day to determine who is THE firefighter of firefighters. Check
