Independence Day

The biggest show in the sky is returning to the grounds of the Casper Event Center this year to celebrate Independence Day.

For all the industries that have been shipped overseas, America is still the entertainment capital of the world. And what better way to celebrate our great nation than with its greatest exports? In honor of July 4th, here are 10 patriotic classics that are sure to turn the silver screen red, white and blue.

Forget about the dawn’s early light, this Fourth of July is all about the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air and maybe even a couple of spiders. Those are the ones that, well, look kind of like a spider, anyway.

Another year has come and gone, and with it, the remnants of the 2011 Fireworks Festival that was held at the Casper Events Center. Approximately a million people (ok, maybe not that many) came out to see amazing bands, eat incredible food, and drink adequate beer.

What do you remember about the 4th of July? Bbq's? The lake? Beer? Family time? Regardless of what you do and do not remember, there is one thing that nobody will ever forget, there is one thing that is synonymous with the 4th of July- Fireworks.

Fireworks Festival 2011 will be held Monday, July 4th on the grounds of the Casper Events Center. There will be a Beer Garden as well as food and vendor booths that include BBQ, kettle corn, jewelry, purses, and lots of other great items and tasty treats!  107.9 The River, Townsquare Media and the City of Casper are pleased to announce that THE DIRTY DOZEN BRASS BAND will be this year’s featured p
