Foo Fighters bandmates Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins will induct Rush into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this April, during a ceremony in Los Angeles, Calif. A press release at RockHall.com also revealed who will induct Albert King, Randy Newman and Donna Summer, but didn't mention what artist will do the honors for Heart or Public Enemy.

Rush has added nine new 'Clockwork Angels' tour dates in North America, in order to satisfy high demand. After mounting a successful 2012 tour and releasing an acclaimed album of the same name last June, the band will visit venues in Florida, Texas, Tennessee and states along the East Coast, with more American and Canadian dates to be announced soon.

At long last, Rush has made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Canadian rockers -- who along with Kiss were the two most debated qualifiers of recent years -- join five other acts to be honored at the April 18, 2013 ceremony in Cleveland. Fan vote overwhelmingly favored Geddy Lee and company, although it appears that didn't weigh too heavily into the Hall of Fame's selections.
