Natrona County school officials and law enforcement investigated what was characterized as a "perceived threat" Sunday evening.

According to the school district, a tip was received Sunday evening, September 30th, through the "Safe2Tell" app. School officials and the Casper Police Department immediately investigated the report.

Law enforcement made contact with those involved and determined there was not a "current safety concern" in response to the report

"Student and staff safety is our priority and all reported safety concerns or threats of violence are taken seriously and investigated. We want to thank the individuals who shared the report via Safe2Tell and with the appropriate officials. If you see something of concern, please continue to say something. We appreciate our students, staff, and community who are helping us to provide a safe learning environment for all students."

No information has been released at this time about the nature of the threat or the identity of those involved.
