UPDATE: Three Hurt In Two-Vehicle Crash Near Airport

Three people were taken to the Wyoming Medical Center with unknown injuries after two vehicles collided west of Casper on Thursday.
Trooper Adam Bruning of the Wyoming Highway Patrol said about 5 p.m. Thursday, a pickup was heading west on U.S. Highway 20-26.

At the same time, a sedan was heading southbound on Six Mile Road -- about two miles east of the Casper-Natrona County International Airport -- and was getting ready to turn onto 20-26, when the collision occurred.
"From what the witnesses were saying, was going to head east towards Casper, but obviously as the blue truck was heading westbound, the Buick LaSabre came out and the truck hit the Buick in the driver's side door."
The wreck caused some partial lane blockage on the highway, but traffic was able to be rerouted around the scene so that crews could clean up the mess.
Friday, Bruning said the two occupants of the pickup and the one occupant of the sedan were still in the hospital.
While the crash is still under investigation, he said the occupants apparently had no evidence of alcohol or controlled substances.
Charges are pending against one of the drivers, Bruning added.
