United Blood Services In Casper Urgently Needs Blood Donors

The need for O negative type blood donors in Casper is critical. United Blood Services is appealing to the community to make an appointment to donate.

United Blood Services in Casper is open Monday and Friday 6 AM – 2 PM, Wednesday 10 AM – 6 PM.  Donors may call 800-456-7057 or visit www.UnitedBloodServices.org to make a convenient appointment to donate. Walk-ins are always welcome. Our address is 1416 East A Street, Suite 102.

O-Negative blood is the universal blood type. Only six percent of the population has O negative blood, which is transfused in 15 percent of all blood transfusions.

If you want to volunteer, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors 16-17 must have signed permission from a parent or guardian.
