Watch Tannerite Blow Up Old Refrigerator in Wyoming [VIDEO]
Wyoming and guns go together like peanut butter and jelly. In this video, Alaskan fishing guide, Michael York, took some slow motion videos of him blowing up an old stove and refrigerator with Tannerite outside or Riverton.
What is Tannerite, you ask? Well, it is a composite explosive that is triggered by a high velocity impact. It is non-flammable, so a fuse or flame will not set it off. Before the explosive is active, you have to mix two substances together, so it is safe to travel with. Tannerite is actually a brand-name. The price starts at around $30 and goes up from there. This product will be on my birthday wish list for sure.
Here is a news story about what NOT do do with Tannerite. Please be responsible. Don't be that guy who ruins it for everyone.
