We Will Rock You, the musical which was co-created by Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen will end its 12 year run at London's Dominion Theatre on May 31st.

London's Dominion Theatre will be considerably less rocking after May 31, as the popular Queen-themed musical We Will Rock Youis set to end its 12-year run at the venue that day.  The production has run nine years longer than any other show at the theater, and is one of the top 10 longest-running West End shows of all time.

Comedian and playwright Ben Elton, teamed up with May and Taylor to create a huge musical that officially opened on May 14, 2002. When the last curtain drops on May 31st, the musical will have been performed 4,600.

"We want to thank every one of the many hundreds of incredible musical theater artists, musicians and crew with whom we've had the privilege of working at the Dominion since 2002," say May, Taylor and Elton in a joint statement.  "And of course the incredible audiences who have rewarded them with over four and a half thousand standing ovations!"
