Metallica has announced they will perform in Denver, at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on June 7, as part of their ‘WorldWired 2017’ tour. This tour supports the band’s latest album, ‘Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.’ Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat are supporting acts for the tour.

Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. Prices range from $59.50 to $159.50. You can purchase tickets online at ticketmaster.comlivenation.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

The last time they were in Denver was 2008 at the Pepsi Center.

Each ticket purchase includes a free physical or digital copy of the album.

No doubt they will play Enter Sandman, but you will NOT hear this version of their biggest hit, that they did on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. It's a happy, peppy, zippy version of a song about crib death.

James Hetfield won’t have to travel far for this date, as he now lives in Colorado.
