The non-conference dates are set and the conference opponent match-ups are set for Wyoming football's 2018 season.

Here's what we know so far...

Wyoming will open a week earlier than usual, as one of only a handful of NCAA teams playing the August 25th weekend. The Pokes will open that weekend at New Mexico State against the Aggies in Las Cruces.

The Cowboy's home opener is scheduled for September 1st against Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars. Wyo will also host Wofford University on September 15th.

Finally, in the non-conference Wyoming gets a road trip to the SEC's most western team, Missouri September 8th.

While all of these dates are set, they are still tentative. Television, particularly ESPN, can move the date of these games.

While Mountain West games are not scheduled yet, the opponents look like this:

Home games:

Air Force, Boise State, San Jose State, Utah State

Road games:

Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, New Mexico
