With all the hoop-lah about jobs, it's nice to know the state of Wyoming has it's share of billionaires... not millionaires. Now you know who to ask for a loan.

A top the list is Christy Walton who is also the richest woman in the world with a net worth of 34 billion dollars! Christy inherited her fortune from her late husband who was the son of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton. She currently resides in Jackson, Wyoming. To get a gauge of just how wealthy she is, she's worth more than 12 1/2 Oprah Winfreys!!!

Forrest Mars, Jr is the next wealthiest Wyoming resident with a net worth of 21.7 billion dollars. Mars is the eldest son and grandson of the 2 founding members of the American candy company Mars, Incorporated, which he owns shares of. Mars, Incorporated is responsible for some of the most famous candy brands in America, which include: M&Ms, Snickers, Milky Way, Three Musketeers, Skittles, and Starburst candies just to name a few.

Originally based in Sheridan, Wyoming, Leandro Rizzuto comes up next with a net worth of 1.8 billion dollars. After dropping out of college, Rizzuto sold his Cadillac to launch a hair products business with his parents in 1959, which became known as Conair. The company started by making rollers and has since expanded to Cuisinart, Waring, Interplak electric toothbrush company, and the hair care lines Babybliss, Rusk, and Scunci.

Last, but certainly not least, is Korean War Veteran, John Edson, who has a net worth of 1 billion dollars. Based out of Jackson, Wyoming, Edson began by building sailboats in his garage. In 1955, the success of his boat building lead to the founding of Bayliner Marine Corp., a company devoted to the manufacture of affordable plywood boats. He still owns a small stake in the company after selling it to Brunswick Corporation for $425 million.
