Woman Dies Monday In Casper Mountain Accident

The Natrona County Coroner's Office has identified the 67-year-old woman as Kathie L. Sullivan.

A Natrona County woman died on Casper Mountain Monday after being buried in snow.

Sullivan's name was not initially released.

According to a Natrona County Sheriff's Office press release, the woman and the man were clearing snow from a roof on opposite ends of a house. The male heard snow crash on the females side.

When he made it to her side of the house, she was buried under several feet of snow.

Sheriff's deputies and EMS personnel arrived at the scene at 2:54 p.m. First responders dug in the snow for roughly 30 minutes before locating the woman.

Medical personnel attempted to revive the woman, who was transported to Wyoming Medical Center, but she died of her injuries.
