Work in Wyoming is great if you can get it. Even with the bad news in the coal and oil industries, there are still positive attributes about Wyoming’s workplace. Business Insider rated the best and worst states to make a living for 2016. Wyoming was the best state in the country to make a living. The Cowboy States low cost of living combined with having no state tax put us on top.

Hawaii won the honor of worst state to make a living for the sixth year in a row. The high cost of living and lower average income level crippled the state.
