The youth of Wyoming in response to the recent violence in Colorado, Casper, Oregon, and Connecticut are asking the community to help turn Friday December 21st, the longest night of the year into a night of hope and love.

They are asking for help to combat the darkness of the past months with a candlelight vigil in remembrance of the bright souls that have been lost.

"Lets get as many people as we can to Conwell Park, across from the Wyoming Medical Center at 6:00 p.m.  We would like to also invite you to send your own personal message of hope and healing on our banner that will be sent to the community of New Town and School of Sandy Hook."

If you are not able to make it to this event, please leave your front porch light on from 6:00 p.m. to midnight symbolize hope.

Lets light up Casper!
