While in most of the United States it is still decidedly Fall, here in Wyoming we have already had several snowstorms and temperatures well below 0.

Yellowstone National Park has just announced that they will be closing roads for the Winter beginning November 2, 2020, at 8 am.

This does NOT include the road between the North and Northeast Entrances which stays open all year.

There may be additional road closures due to inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions.

For recorded information on road conditions, closures, and construction call (307) 344-2117 or sign up to receive Yellowstone road alerts on your mobile phone by texting "82190" to 888-777 (an automatic text reply will confirm receipt and provide instructions).
