25 Years Later: Terry Don West’s Legendary Ride of ‘Playboy’ in Casper

This is the stuff of rodeo legend. Were you there in 1994 when Terry Don West rode the bull "Playboy" at the BRO event in Casper?

Many people consider Terry Don West one of the top 5 bull riders of all time. That's actually his description on the Cowboy Lifestyle Network site. The YouTube channel that shared this epic ride had this description:

1996 PRCA world champion bull rider Terry Don West rides David Bailey's famed bull Playboy Skoal during a 1994 BRO event in Casper, WY.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe the highest pro rodeo bull riding score was accomplished on the bull Dillinger in 2001 with a staggering 96.5 according to Wikipedia. That will give you an idea how insane Terry Don West's score of 93 was during that ride in Casper in 1994.

It's hard to believe it's been 25 years since these bull rides happened in our backyard.
