Author Casey Rislov Asks Casper Families For Help With New Book
Award-winning local Children's author Casey Rislov is getting ready to publish a new book.
It is her first-ever board book (a book made out of thick cardboard which makes it perfect for infants and toddlers) and the title is "LOVE".
Love is patient, love is gentle and kind, love celebrates the joys of others.
Inspired by the much-loved and well-known passage from the bible (1 Corinthians 13:4-8); LOVE wraps little ones up in the embrace of gentle words and sweet embraces.
The beautiful watercolor illustrations created by Rachael Balsaitis add a unique charm to this lovely book.

But, Rislov needs your help.
She would like to include Casper families in her advertising campaign for this book.
Rislov is collaborating with well known local photographer Jessica Sorenson of J. Sore Photography and local videographer Jeremy Miller to create a fun photoshoot on Casper Mountain.
She would like YOU and your family to come up to Beartrap Meadow on July 22, 4 pm- 8 pm and participate in mini photo sessions.
Your family can wear whatever they like and will receive FREE digital copies of your pictures as well as access to the video, in exchange for permission to use the pictures on Rislov's website and social media for advertising for the new book.
There are a limited number of sessions available so PLEASE follow this link to sign up for your mini session.
Participants will need to sign a release form and are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their time to ensure that things go smoothly for all of the families.
Since you'll be up on gorgeous Casper Mountain for these pictures I recommend packing a picnic and turning this into a fun evening for your family.
What an amazing way to help a local author, have some gorgeous family pictures, and make some summer memories.
