Insane Dad Builds Backyard Roller Coaster With 12-Foot Drop
Being a parent means you have the chance to build all the stuff you wish you had when you were a kid but lacked the tools and know-how to pull off.
An Ohio man with the YouTube handle Makethesale1 must have had a childhood jonesing for a backyard roller coaster.
According to the man, the ride is made from “PVC pipe, treated lumber and lots of concrete.” It has a 12-foot drop and a 30 degree bank turn. The coaster took him about three weeks to build and reaches a top speed of 24 MPH.
You’re probably thinking “A homemade backyard roller coaster? Isn’t that sort of dangerous?” to which we reply “yes, but it ain’t our kid.”
