
Casper Eclipse Festival Makes National News
Casper's Eclipse Festival is getting national attention, after being named in the New York Times as one of the best places in the U.S. for viewing the solar spectacle in August.
The Times piece, "Where and How to See the Total Eclipse This Summer in the U.S.", touts not only the five-day Wyoming Eclipse Festival and its many events, but also such happenings as Ira Flatow from "Science Friday" and the special viewing events the day of the total solar eclipse on August 21st.
Some 35,000 people are expected to visit Casper for the event.
