Casper police arrested a Colorado woman late Tuesday after she allegedly traveled to the Oil City with methamphetamine and heroin in order to perform sex acts in exchange for $500.

Christy V. Pohly, 45, was booked into jail on recommended charges of prostitution, possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin. She will likely make her initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Casper police officers conducted an undercover operation at an undisclosed location in Casper at roughly 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Pohly, who had allegedly advertised herself as a paid escort on skipthegames.com, had agreed to drive to Casper for a night of "full service" sex.

She arrived at the agreed-upon location and was arrested.

Inside Pohly's purse, an officer allegedly found a broken meth pipe. The officer noted that Pohly smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage.

In searching a black purse found behind the front passenger seat of Pohly's car, the officer found a jeweler's bag containing heroin residue. Two syringe caps and a jeweler's bag containing meth residue were allegedly found in the center console.

Pohly reportedly told the officers that she had last used methamphetamine two days prior, and the meth pipe was old. She said the baggie with heroin residue did not belong to her, but she had used heroin previously.

Pohly's criminal history as reflected in the affidavit includes prior drug charges out of Grand Teton National Park, Montana and Colorado.
