Casper Rec Center Hosting Taekwondo Lessons
It’s not too late to register for the second session of the popular Taekwondo classes at the Casper Recreation Center. This Korean form of karate is for ages 8 and up (6 & 7 year olds allowed if accompanied by a participating adult).
When I was a kid I was shorter than most, and moved around so much that I attended 15 schools in 13 years. Basically, I was the new kid, and I got picked on a lot. Taekwondo changed that.
It wasn't just that I now had the skills and knowledge to defend myself, but my confidence received a much needed boost, and I was able to avoid more fights than not because I was no longer afraid. Add to that the fact that I learned coordination and enough discipline to ensure that I would never let my body get too out of shape, and you have the perfect exercise regimen.
The Casper Rec Center is hosting another session of Taekwondo available for ages 8 and up. Check out the press release, and get more information by clicking the link or calling the number below:
Improve your fitness level and self-confidence, learn self-defense tactics and receive instruction in classical TaeKwon-Do under the requirements of US and International TaeKwon-Do Federations which involves the skilled application of punches, kicks, blocks and dodges with bare hands and feet.
