A Casper man will avoid prison time after admitting to taking items from his employer because he says there was a dispute over how much money he thought he should have been paid.

Cory Condelario was given a two- to five-year suspended prison sentence with three years of probation after pleading guilty to one count of felony theft.

He was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution.

According to court documents, Condelario was fired in September 2015 from a small business that dealt with gold and silver.

The owner later discovered about $50,000 worth of items missing.

Condelario allegedly told police that he and his boss had a dispute over money which Condelario felt he was owed.

Condelario took a box of silver bars and silver and gold coins after he was fired, reportedly trying to compensate himself.

After selling some items and getting the money he felt he was owed, he returned the box with the remaining items.
