It is the busiest week of the Wyoming Legion Baseball season so far in 2024. Week 4 has games on six days. Ten teams will make their debut this week, including the two Casper teams, Cheyenne Eagles, Cody, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Laramie A, Lovell, and Wheatland. Some teams are playing in the state, but a lot are facing opposition from out of the state.

MONDAY, APRIL 22:

Cheyenne Ice-Breaker

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 7 Laramie Rangers 1 - the Sixers steadily pulled away after an early 4-0 lead. Swaen had 2 hits & 1 RBI for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 10 Laramie Rangers 0 - a 4-run 1st staked the Sixers to an early lead, and they closed it out in the 6th. Swaen had 2 hits & 1 RBI, while McAnelly added 1 hit & 2 RBIs. Cheyenne took advantage of 4 walks & 6 errors.

TUESDAY, APRIL 23:

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 17 Spearfish (SD) Jr. Spartans 4 - Rustlers broke open a 4-4 game with 7 runs in the 6th & 6 more in the 7th to finish a 9-inning game early. Schilling had 3 hits & 3 RBIs, Percifield had 2 hits & 3 RBIs, & Hecker added 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 17 Spearfish (SD) Spartans 9 - Gillette scored 10 runs in the first 2 innings and pulled away. Foss had 3 hits (HR) & 3 RBIs. Loftus added 4 hits & 3 runs scored.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 10 Spearfish Spartans 0 - Riders scored 5 in the 4th and 5 in the 6th. Loftus and D. Hecker added 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Drube & Foss combined on a 1-hitter.

Final Score: Jackson Giants 18 Green River Knights 3 - the Giants scored 8 in the 1st and 7 in the 3rd inning. Wiley had 2 hits & 3 RBIs. Jackson took advantage of 14 walks.

THURSDAY, APRIL 25:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 10 Sheridan Troopers 7 (9-inning game) - Riders scored all 10 of their runs in the 4th inning. Hecker had 3 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Rock Springs Stallions 11 Evanston Outlaws 1 - Stallions scored 6 in the 5th to close it out early. Peterson and Valerio had 2 hits & 2 RBIs each for RS.

SATURDAY, APRIL 27:

Final Score: Casper Oilers 5 Sheridan Troopers 4 (10 inns.) - Devaraux had the game-winning RBI double in the 10th for the Oilers. Sheridan scored 4 runs in the 6th to tie the game. Christensen had 2 hits & 2 RBIs to lead the Casper offense.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Scarlets 7 Casper Oilers 1 (in Sheridan) - the Scarlets led 3-1 and scored the last 4.

Final Score: Billings Scarlets 10 Sheridan Troopers 1 - a 6-run 4th keyed the Scarlets win.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 12 Sheridan Jets 4 - the Drillers broke the game open with 9 runs in the 2nd. Pexton & Thompson had 1 hits & 2 RBIs each. Casper took advantage of 9 walks & 4 errors.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 7 Sheridan Jets 6 - the Drillers scored 1 in the bottom of the 6th that was the difference. Galles had the go-ahead and game-winning hit for Casper.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Cardinals 2 Lovell Mustangs 0 - 2 unearned runs in the 5th was the difference.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Cardinals 5 Lovell Mustangs 4 - the Mustangs rallied with 4 runs in the 7th but fell just short.

Final Score: Lewistown (MT) Redbirds 11 Jackson Giants 0 - a 6-run 2nd put Lewistown in control.

Final Score: Gallatin Valley (MT) Outlaws 12 Jackson Giants 2 - the Outlaws scored 5 in the 2nd to take the lead for good.

SUNDAY, APRIL 28:

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 7 Billings (MT) Royals 4 - Barney struck out 10 and Sheridan scored 5 in the 2nd to take the lead for good. Brown & T. Hamrick had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers A 8 Wheatland Lobos 4 - Laramie pulls it out with 7 runs in the top of the 7th. Bailey had 2 hits & 1 RBI for Laramie.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 6 Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 5 (8 inns.) - Horton had the game-winning RBI single in the 8th inning. Williams led the Sixers with 3 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 11 Cheyenne Sixers 6 - Hardhats scored 2 runs in the 4th, 5th, & 6th innings to pull away.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Expos 14 Cheyenne Hawks 2 - Expos led 3-1 and steadily pulled away.

Final Score: Billings Cardinals 4 Powell Pioneers 3 - a run in the bottom of the 5th was the difference for Billings. Worstell had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for the Pioneers in the loss.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 10 Lewistown (MT) Redbirds 0 - Schroeder & Hartley combined on a no-hitter for Cody with 6 Ks and just 2 walks. Schroeder also had 3 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 9 Lewistown Redbirds 3 - the Cubs scored 4 in the 1st and never looked back in getting the sweep at home. Phillips had 4 hits & 2 RBIs. Jarrett & Johnston added 3 hits apiece.

Final Score: Casper Drillers 8 Wheatland 2 - the Drillers led 3-1 early and then capped it with 3 in the 7th. Speiser had 3 hits & 1 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 7 Casper Oilers 4 - Troopers built a 7-2 lead and held off a comeback. Riesen had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for Sheridan.
