Last week saw a mix of conference and cross-quad action on the diamond.

Most schools are not in competition over the upcoming holiday weekend. That means Thursday will be a busy day, weather-permitting.

Three quadrants are scheduled to play their first conference games of 2026. The weather might interfere.

It’s another light slate of action on the pitch. Spring Break and schedule gaps affect 11 schools.

For the third consecutive week, Spring Break for some schools means fewer matches on the schedule.

Based on points, Buffalo, Lander, Sheridan, and Green River lead the conference races early on.

Last week featured the first conference games of the year in the Northeast Quadrant. The South Region played some of its cross-quad games.

Some 3A teams played their first match of the year last week. Three schools have not played an official match yet.

Several schools will play their first match of the year this week. Another first is the start of conference action in the 4A East Conference.

There are small in-state track meets in Afton, Casper, and Rock Springs. Pavillion hosts the largest event on Saturday.
