Wyoming Legion Baseball Scoreboard for June 1-7, 2026

We’ve reached the third month of the 2026 American Legion Baseball season in Wyoming. Several conference doubleheaders are part of this week’s schedule. There are also three tournaments on the slate, including one in the Cowboy State. Torrington hosts its annual Dean Bullock Memorial Tournament from Thursday through Saturday at two parks in T-town. It features teams from three states.

WYOPREPS WEEK 9 AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL SCHEDULE 2026

Four Wyoming teams will play in the annual Black Hills Veterans Classic in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Cheyenne Sixers head to Northern Colorado for the Five Tool Wood Bat Shootout against teams from Colorado. The conference action is sprinkled throughout Week 9.

MONDAY, JUNE 1:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 5 Riverton Raiders 0 (conference game) - Clifford threw a 4-hit shutout on the road and out-dueled Baker. He struck out 11 Raiders with only 3 walks. Craig had 3 hits and scored 2 runs. Gillette took advantage of 5 errors. Baker had 10 Ks on the bump for Riverton but took the loss.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 13 Riverton Raiders 4 (conference game) - Riverton led 2-1 before the Riders exploded for 9 runs in the 5th inning. Newman had 2 doubles among 3 hits & 1 RBI. Hawk added 2 hits & drove in 3 for Gillette. The Riders took advantage of 11 walks, 5 stolen bases, and 3 errors. Beau Anderson had 2 hits & 1 RBI for the Raiders.

Casper Drillers at Torrington Tigers – rained out.

TUESDAY, JUNE 2:

Final Score: Cody Cubs 11 Billings (MT) Blue Jays 6 - The Cubs scored 9 runs over their last 4 at-bats to pull away. Phillips had 5 hits (2-2B) & 3 RBIs for Cody. Delzer added 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 16 Billings Blue Jays 2 - The Cubs scored 5 runs in 3 different innings to complete the sweep. Phillips doubled, homered, and drove in 5. Sitz added 2 hits & 2 RBIs, while Hartley had 3 hits (2B, 3B), 1 RBI, and 4 runs scored.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 7 Green River Knights 4 (conference game) - The Oilers took control with a 5-run 2nd inning and held off a GR comeback attempt. Johnson had 3 hits (2-2B) & 3 RBIs for the Oilers. Atnip added 3 hits (2B) & drove in 1.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 11 Green River Knights 3 (conference game) - Casper scored 8 times in the 2nd inning of the conference sweep. Schauss had a triple and drove in 4 runs. Martinez added 2 hits & 1 RBI. Ginestar led GR with 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 12 Douglas Cats 0 - 3 pitchers combined on a 3-hit shutout. Greer had 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. B. Phillips added 1 HR among 2 hits & 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 11 Douglas Cats 0 - Malmberg and Greer combined on a 2-hitter with 9 Ks. Sheridan scored 6 in the 4th to finish it off. B. Phillips hit a 3-run HR. Rodgers added 2 hits (2B) and 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Jackson Giants 10 Rock Springs Stallions 0 - Moore & Torres combined on a 2-hit shutout for Jackson. Menke had 3 hits (2-2B) & 3 RBIs with 3 runs scored. Moore added 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored at the plate.

Final Score: Jackson Giants 5 Rock Springs Stallions 0 - 3 Giants pitchers combined on a 2-hitter with 10 Ks. Moore had 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored. Peterman added 1 hit & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 7 Cheyenne Eagles 1 (conference game) - The Lobos took a 2-0 lead and extended it with 5 more runs over a 3-inning stretch. Bohlander had 2 hits, 1 RBI, 2 SB, and 2 runs scored. Wheatland took advantage of 10 stolen bases and 6 errors.

Final Score: Wheatland Lobos 16 Cheyenne Eagles 10 (conference game) - Down 4-0, the Lobos fought back with 3 in the 3rd and 4th. After trailing 8-6, Wheatland scored 10 runs in the 5th and 6th innings. Lauck had 2 hits & 3 RBIs, and Bohlander added 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Hall paced the Eagles with 3 hits (2B) & drove in 1 run.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3:

Final Score: LB Baseball (Fort Collins) 18U 4 Casper Oilers 3 - FB scored 2 in the bottom of the 6th to pull out the victory. The Oilers had a 3-1 lead entering the 5th. Pownell and Kalinowski had RBI hits for Casper. Johnson 3 hits & 1 run scored.

Final Score: LB Baseball (Fort Collins) 18U 2 Casper Oilers 1 - Atnip hit a solo HR in the 2nd inning for a1-0 lead, which held up until the 7th when FC pushed across 2 for the win. Back-to-back RBI singles tied and won it for LB Baseball.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 9 Belle Fourche (SD) Broncs 8 - The Rustlers rallied with 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th for the win. An error led to 2 runs that tied it. Gillette won it on a walk-off RBI single by Jeffress. Cope had 1 hit & 3 RBIs. The Rustlers took advantage of 6 walks, 3 stolen bases, and 5 errors.

Final Score: Belle Fourche (SD) Broncs 12 Gillette Rustlers 2 - The Broncs pulled away with 7 in the 3rd and pulled out the split. Little and Reed led Gillette with 1 hit & 1 RBI.

THURSDAY, JUNE 4:

Final Score: Casper Wildcatters 13 Gillette Rustlers 3 (conference game) - Casper exploded for 7 runs in the 2nd inning and pulled away from there. The Wildcatters took advantage of 9 walks, 5 errors, and 4 stolen bases. Freeman had a double & 2 RBIs. Porter added 2 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 7 Casper Wildcatters 2 (conference game) - Gillette used a 6-run 2nd inning to take control. Little had 2 hits & drove in 1 run, and Opsal added a 2-run single.

Final Score: Billings (MT) Cardinals 5 Sheridan Jets 4 - After rallying to tie the game with 3 runs in the 7th, the Jets lost on a walk-off sacrifice fly. Hammerstrom had 2 hits & 1 RBI for Sheridan.

Final Score: Sheridan Jets 14 Billings Cardinals 7 - Sheridan scored 4 runs in the 5th & 6th innings to break a 6-6 tie. Hutton had 2 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs. Chance added 3 hits & drove in 2 runs.

Final Score: Utah Yaks 18U 12 Rock Springs Stallions 1 - The Yaks scored in 4 of the 5 frames. RS was held to 1 hit and 4 walks.

Final Score: Utah Yaks 18U at Rock Springs Stallions 3 - The Stallions had a 3-2 lead, but the Yaks scored the last 6 runs of the game. Young had 2 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs for RS.

Dean Bullock Memorial Tournament in Torrington

Final Score: Alliance (NE) Jr Spartans 3 Douglas Cats 1 - 2 runs in the 3rd inning was the difference for the Jr Spartans. Crawford had 1 hit & 1 run scored for the Cats.

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 10 Douglas Cats 8 - The Tigers broke the game open with 5 in the 4th, and then had to hold off a Douglas comeback attempt (6 runs in the last 2 frames). Mattis had 3 hits & 2 RBIs, and Kramer added 2 hits (HR), 3 RBIs, and 3 runs scored for Torrington. Lenzen had 5 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs for Douglas.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 16 Rocky Mountain 16U 1 - Holding a 6-1 lead, the Raiders exploded for 10 runs in the 4th inning. Trujillo & Heikkila homered for Riverton. Heikkila and Martin led the offense with 3 hits & 3 RBIs apiece. Trujillo also got the win on the bump. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 4 innings.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 3 Lovell Mustangs 0 - Gorman tossed a 1-hitter with 6 Ks. Vines and Mitchell had RBI hits for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 9 Rocky Mountain Lobos 16U 3 - Down 2-1, the Hawks scored 6 times in the 4th to pull in front. Gorman and Aragon had 2 hits & 3 RBIs each.

Black Hills Veteran Classic in Rapid City, SD

Final Score: Alliance (NE) Spartans 2 Gillette Riders 1 - The Riders lost on a walk-off walk. Gillette's run scored on a passed ball.

Final Score: Alliance (NE) Spartans 18 Laramie Rangers 8 - Laramie scored 6 in the 1st to take a 6-5 lead, but gave up 6 in the 3rd and 6 more in the 5th. Gill, Dorrell, and Hardesty had 1 hit & 2 RBIs for the Rangers.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 10 Elkhorn (NE) Knights 7 - A 3-run 7th inning pushed Sheridan to the win. Hamrick had 3 hits (2-2B), 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored. T. Phillips added 2 hits (3B) & 2 RBIs, and B. Phillips homered for the Troopers.

Final Score: 18U USA Prime Mountain West (Billings, MT) 8 Laramie Rangers 0 - Laramie was held to 3 hits, as the Prime squad scored 3 in the 1st and 3 more in the 4th. Prime also capitalized on 7 errors, 5 walks, and 7 stolen bases.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 4 Billings (MT) Bandits 1 - Sheridan did its damage in the 4th. Hamrick, B. Phillips, and Destefano had RBI singles, and the 4th run scored on a wild pitch. Kula went 5.1 innings, allowed 0 runs on 5 hits with 6 Ks.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 320 Stars 22 Cody Cubs 7 - RC took control with 10 runs in the 2nd, and then added 11 more over the next 2 frames. Machen hit a grand slam for Cody.

Five Tool Colorado Northern Colorado Wood Bat Shootout

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 2 Rocky Mountain Lobos 18U 2 - the pool play game ended in a tie on time limit. King had 2 hits & 1 run scored for Cheyenne.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 10 CS Blackbirds 18U 2 - An 8-run 5th led to the Sixers' victory. Broda & Nuland had 1 hit & 2 RBIs each. King added 2 hits (2B), 3 runs scored, & 2 stolen bases.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5:

Final Score: Jackson Giants 5 Casper Drillers 2 (conference game) - Trailing 2-0 entering the bottom of the 3rd, Jackson scored the last 5 runs over a 4-inning stretch. Gray had 1 hit & 2 RBIs. Peterman and Goodell added 1 hit & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Jackson Giants 8 Casper Drillers 0 (conference game) - Holding allowed 1 hit over 6 IP with 6 Ks. The Giants scored 3 in the 3rd & 5th innings. Gray had a 2-run double, and Cabradilla added a 2-run triple.

Final Score: Riverton Raiders 14 Torrington Tigers 5 - The Raiders broke open a tight game with 7 runs in their last 2 at-bats. Baker and Yeates homered for Riverton. Baker had 3 hits & 5 RBIs, and Spradlin added 3 hits & 4 RBIs. Kramer led the Tigers with 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Casper Wildcatters 12 Cheyenne Eagles 0 - Porter fired a 2-hit shutout. Hummel had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Walling doubled, tripled, had 1 RBI, 1 walk, & scored once.

Final Score: Laramie JV Rangers 27 Rock Springs Stallions 8 (conference game) - Laramie scored the first 15 runs of the game over the first 3 frames. They capped it with 12 in the 4th. They took advantage of 11 walks, 4 errors, and 6 stolen bases. Biggs and Blanco had 2 hits & 3 RBIs each.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 15 Huron (SD) Tigers 7 - Down 7-6, the Troopers exploded for 9 runs in the 6th inning. Hamrick had 4 hits, 1 RBI, and scored 4 times. Rodgers added 3 hits & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 5 Colorado Slammers Vargas 4 - The Sixers had a 5-1 lead entering the 7th and held on. Pearson had 2 hits & 2 runs scored.

SUNDAY, JUNE 7:

Final Score: Powell Pioneers 5 Gillette Rustlers 2 (conference game) - A 3-run 3rd was the difference for Powell. Ostermiller and Teten had 1 hit & 1 RBI each. Ostermiller got the win on the bump with 5.1 IP. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 7 Ks.

Final Score: Gillette Rustlers 7 Powell Pioneers 6 (conference game) - The Rustlers got the road split thanks to a 7-run 2nd inning. Cope had 3 hits & 2 RBIs. 2 bases-loaded walks, 2 errors, and two more RBI hits were part of the big frame.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 10 18U USA Prime Mountain West 3 - championship - Troopers win the tournament title. Sheridan scored in 5 of their 6 at-bats. That included a 5-run 6th to pull away. Greer had 2 hits, 1 RBI, 1 walk, and 3 runs scored. Mathews has 1 hit & 2 RBIs. B. Phillips homered.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 7 Dickinson (ND) Roughriders 6 - The Cubs scored 3 in the top of the 7th and allowed 3 to Dickinson in the bottom of the inning, but held on. Horst had 2 hits & 1 RBI.

Final Score: Laramie Rangers 16 Huron (SD) Tigers 12 - Rangers snap a 7-game slide. Laramie broke out of a slump with 17 hits. They took the lead with a 7-run 2nd inning. Gosar went 4-4 (2B, 2-3B), 4 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Gill added 4 hits & drove in 2 runs.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 6 16U USA Prime Mountain West 5 - Craig hit the go-ahead RBI double in the 6th for the Riders to prevail. Newman homered, doubled, and drove in 3. Wood added 3 hits & 2 RBIs.

Five Tool Colorado Northern Colorado Wood Bat Shootout (Match Play)

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 4 LB Baseball (Ft. Collins) 3 (8 inns.) - bracket semi - An RBI groundout in the 8th was the difference for Cheyenne. King had 2 hits & 1 RBI, and K. Tafoya added 1 hit & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Sixers 7 Colorado Slammers Feinman 2027 4 - championship - Sixers win the tournament title. Cheyenne used a 6-run 1st inning to set the tone. Hauf had a 3-run triple that capped the big inning. King had 3 hits (3B) and scored 2 runs.
