Wyoming High School Skiing Scoreboard: Feb. 7-8, 2025

Nordic skiers return to the trails after a week off from the high school schedule for their only stop outside the Oil City. It’s the Don and Susan Jacobson Memorial Nordic Ski Race during Week 8 of the 2025 season. Alpine skiers do not have competition this week.

WYOPREPS HIGH SCHOOL SKIING SCHEDULE AND RESULTS WEEK 8

The 2025 cross-country skiing season rolls into Casper for racing on Friday and Saturday. The Casper Mountain Trails Center hosts a 7.75km freestyle race at 1 p.m. on Friday. It will have interval starts with a skier beginning the course every 15 seconds. The varsity girls will ski first followed by the varsity boys. Saturday is a 7.9km classic race at 10 a.m. It also has the same interval start. Varsity boys ski first followed by varsity girls on Saturday.

Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale, and Sheridan will compete on the trails this week.

FRIDAY RESULTS

Sheridan's Kayley Alicke won the girls' division at 25:58.8. Olivia Tolson of Pinedale came in second, while Raina Wachob of Cody placed third. In the boys' division, KW's Fisk Johansson won on his home course at 21:34.7. Darin Binning from Pinedale took second, and Kalel Brubaker of Natrona County came in third.

SATURDAY RESULTS

Pinedale's Olivia Tolson was the top finisher from Wyoming in second place at 28:00.3. Julia Veauthier of KW placed third, and Raina Wachob from Cody came in third place. Johansson made it a sweep of the boys' races. He won the classic at 21:05.2. Brubaker was second, and Everett Roberson of KW finished third.
