The Paul McCartney tribute album, The Art of McCartney, is filled with super-star artist including Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, B. B. King and many others.

Yesterday a video of Alice Cooper's version of the 1966 classic "Eleanor Rigby"
made it's premier at USAToday.com.

Alice's version of the classic 1966 song sounds very similar to the Fab Four's original rendition, with the shock-rocker singing mournfully while accompanied by a string section.  The video includes footage of Cooper singing the tune in the studio.  If you pre-order the album at The Art of McCartney's official website, you'll receive a free digital download of the track.  Alice also recorded a version of the McCartney solo song "Smile Away" for the project; it appears as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of the album.

Among the many other music greats who recorded Sir Paul's compositions for the album are Bob Dylan, The Who's Roger Daltrey, Brian Wilson, Def Leppard, Billy Joel, KISS, Heart, Steve Miller, Cat Stevens, Jeff Lynne, Paul Rodgers, Sammy Hagar, Chrissie Hynde, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King, and Willie NelsonThe Art of McCartney's YouTube channel features 30-second audio snippets of Dylan's version of The Beatles' "Things We Said Today," Nelson's rendition of "Yesterday," and Wilson's, Robinson's and King's respective takes on the McCartney solo tunes "Wanderlust," "So Bad," and "On the Way."
