A single-vehicle crash took out the lower half of a power pole and stopped up traffic around 6 a.m. Thursday on Wyoming Boulevard near Morad Park.

No one was taken to the hospital, says Sgt. Winter of the Casper Police Department.

Winter says repair crews elected not to replace the pole immediately. He says it is a 'support pole,' and there was no impact to service as a result of the accident.

It wasn't immediately clear when the pole might be removed. For now, it sure is a sight to see.
