JUST AS THIS WINTER STORM HITS WYOMING, THE RESIDENTS OF GLENROCK HAVE LOST THEIR NATURAL GAS SUPPLY.

SOURCEGAS VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS, JASON WEEKLEY, SAID...

“The pipeline that supplies SourceGas’ natural gas system in Glenrock, WY was interrupted early this morning, resulting in the loss of service to all SourceGas customers in town. We are working with the upstream supplier to understand what caused the interruption. Our top priority right now is the safe and efficient restoration of reliable service to all customers in Glenrock. SourceGas employees from around Wyoming and western Nebraska are on-site or en route to assist in this mission.

“In order to re-establish service to all customers safely and efficiently, we must turn-off all meters in town. We anticipate this first step will be completed later this afternoon, at which point we will begin relighting customers. We will be working through the night and ask that you be available to let our service personnel into your home.  Our personnel will all be clearly identifiable as SourceGas employees, so please do not let anybody into your home unless you see branded uniforms, identification and / or SourceGas vehicle.

“We are aware that the cold weather will continue.  We are working to remedy this situation as quickly as possible.  We remind customers that not all heating sources are suitable for indoor use, so please ensure any backup heating source is safe for indoor use.  We will continue to provide updates as information  becomes available.

“As always, if you smell gas please immediately leave the premises and find a safe location, then call SourceGas at 1.800.563.0012.”

THE RED CROSS WILL SET UP A WARM LOCATION FOR FAMILIES WHO NEED IT AT THE GLENROCK RECREATION CENTER.
