Local News Stage Manager Fills in for Missing Traffic Reporter, Is Terrible [VIDEO]

During a live broadcast, the traffic reporter for Fox’s affiliate in Western Michigan failed show up for his segment, leaving viewers to stare at a traffic map and nothing else.

After about seven seconds of this awkward silence, stage manager Mike Davis — who happens to bare a striking resemblance to Larry David — entered into the shot and gave a hilarious, impromptu traffic report using only arm gestures.

No word on whether the traffic reporter was late because he was stuck in traffic, but he better start showing up on time or Davis is going to have his job.
