A driver recently learned something that all of us that have lived in Wyoming already knew. Some traffic jams here don't move. Or, maybe I should say "moo-ve".
Wyoming has different traffic issues than other parts of America. Sure, many other places have slowdowns caused by construction. Here our day can come to a cold stop by miles and miles of elk just like it did recently in the western part of our state.
I have pretty high standards for trail cam videos. I've seen a lot of them, but the new one that's just been shared by Wyoming Game and Fish may be the best thing ever. I am not exaggerating at all.
If you live in Wyoming, you're required to love this. Not really, but there really are very few things more Wyoming than watching an elk herd migrating in front of the Tetons.
It's almost automatic that if you have a log cabin in Wyoming, I will love it. If you have one where you can watch elk, deer and bear from the deck, you had me at hello.
Some of us humans are struggling to deal with the new reality of social distancing and quarantines. The Wyoming animals however seem to be doing just fine without so many people around.
Never let anyone tell you that you can't do anything. Obviously, this baby grizzly lives his life that way. He saw a bunch of elk and decided that one would make a nice little snack. If he could catch one of course.
This video starts out like any other elk video that I've shared recently but, it takes a turn when the camera pans left and we get to see an incredible sized herd of elk that any hunter would be proud to be this close to.
