In case we needed more reminders that robots are smarter than us, there is now one that solves the world's top selling puzzle game: the Rubik's Cube.

The engineering website Hackaday posted a video showing the robots maker, Takashi Kaburagi, replacing the battery inside the unit, before mixing up the colored sides and allowing the robot to solve itself.

As a fan of the Rubik's Cube since I got my first one at a very young age (roughly around 5 or 6), I must say I'm jealous. I can do one color pretty quickly at about 30 seconds (check out the video below if you don't believe me), but it takes me a considerable amount longer to do the entire thing.

Every time I witness the joys of technology, like artificial intelligence and robots, a little part of my subconscious fears for Judgement Day (a la The Terminator).
