WATCH: California Sea Lions Take Notes From Wyoming Bison
Two California sea lions took a page from the fluffy cow book (bison) here in Wyoming by chasing a bunch of STUPID beach goers.
San Diego California. - La Jolla Cove a woman got too close to one of the local sea lions. She was trying to take pictures. Don't they look so CUTE!
Well, they might be cute but they are also wild animals.
Imagine being a sea lion, taking a name only to wake up surrounded by humans leaning over and taking pictures of you.
This video shows dozens of people running from the sea lions. The panic only lasted a few moments before the sea lions jumped into the water and swam away.
I'm thinking we humans are not top of the food chain anymore.
The video has over 9 million views since it was posted on Saturday.
Much like Yellowstone National Park, San Diego has posted multiple signs in the area last year that warn visitors not to approach sea lions at the cove.
Signs read "Stay back: Sea lion birthing area" and "Do not approach mothers or pups." Others cautioned that sea lions can bite and that harassing them is against the law.
Yet people just do not learn.
Did you know that in Florida people can actually buy stuffed fluffy alligators for their kids? What exactly are we trying to teach them here?
Our hero, Hank Patterson, perfectly describes the real reason so many modern people get gored by wild animals every year.
Here is his video.
Honestly, I don't know what else we can do. How many ways and how many times do we have to say it?
Maybe from now on Disney movies should no longer show cuddly cute animals singing. They should always show animals ripping people apart. That will traumatize kids, but at least we'll rais responsible adults.
