Watching the World Record for Most Doughnuts Will Leave Your Head Spinning

Unless there are politicians arguing, you won’t see more ‘round and ‘round without actually getting anywhere.

Stunt driver Terry Grant recently set a world record for most doughnuts in his car in 100 seconds, with 39 of them. He performed the stunt in front of a bunch of curious people, who were presumably waiting for another driver to show up before agreeing to a game of chicken to see who would jump out of their car before going over the bluff.

The hoopla surrounding his effort is kind of old hat for Grant, who already owns 19 other world records.

The feat is certainly impressive enough, but the real accomplishment is Grant didn’t tip over when he got out of the car.
