Have you ever heard someone call Casper the Paris of Wyoming? No, that's because no one ever said that, but we wanted to compare the two cites looking at their iconic towers. It required some number crunching, but it gave us some interesting things to ponder.

The "Egg Beater" or the Wells Fargo tower is approximately 177 feet tall. The Eiffel Tower in Paris is 1063 feet tall which makes it 6 times as tall. If planted in Casper, the Eiffel Tower would take up a full city block, so the bank would have to move out or up into the tower itself.

Most of downtown Casper would not be able to see the top of the tower, so you would have to get to lookout point to get a clear view. The photo distorts some of the perspectives as Casper Mountain is taller than the tower. The summit is nearly 3000 feet above the town.

If the Eiffel Tower could withstand the howling Wyoming winds, that is a completely different question. My guess is no, but I don't have an engineering degree to figure out that kind of math. So you will have to enjoy this photoshopped photo.
