Wyoming Responds To Orlando Shootings

In the wake of 49 people killed and 53 more injured in the Orlando nightclub Pulse last weekend, Casper, Wyoming hosted a candle vigil at The United Church Of Christ last night. Tonight, Tuesday, June 14, 2016, Laramie will observe and support at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Church at 7:30. They are at 1402 East Gibbon Street

wyomingequality has posted that Cheyenne will have a candlelight vigil Thursday night at The Cheyenne Depot Plaza. Cheyenne United saying “In light of the tragic events in Orlando, Florida on Sunday morning, the Cheyenne LGBT community along with friends and allies will gather together in support on Thursday, June 16 for the Cheyenne United: #WeAreOrlando rally.

Wyomingpublicmedia writes “June is Pride Month, and celebrations had already been planned around the state. Jeran Artery, chairman of Wyoming Equality, said he knows people are scared, but that they should not give in to fear.”
