The Carbon County Sheriff's Office has suspended the search for a Wyoming man who has been missing for over a week.

Mark Strittmater, 44, went into the Medicine Bow National Forest alone to hunt elk Oct. 19. He was last seen at a gas station in Saratoga.

After a week of search efforts, which included the Civil Air Patrol out of Pinedale and cadaver dogs, the search was suspended at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone with information on Mark Strittmater is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 307-324-2776.
