Josh Ferrin isn't all about the benjamins.

Ferrin recently returned $45,000 in cash he found in the attic of his new Bountiful, Utah home to the family of the house's previous owner.

Ferrin came across the loot when he discovered a piece of carpet nudging out from the ceiling of his garage while unpacking. He hopped on a ladder and his eyes quickly spotted the type of booty the guys from Goonies were hoping to land when chasing One-Eyed Willie's treasure.

The man who previously owned the home died late last year, so Ferrin could've kept his piehole shut and taken the cash to help pay off his mortgage, right? Wrong. Instead, he called the man's family and alerted them to the fact he had stumbled across his money.

He then cemented his nomination for Good Samaritan of the year by explaining his decision. He said, "I don't believe you get a chance very often to do something radically honest, to do something ridiculously awesome for someone else and that is a lesson I hope to teach to my children."

Now, we don't know about you, but if we found that kind of money lying around, we'd be infused with the energy of Rod Tidwell.
