Statues Around Casper Wyoming
A town’s character comes from many places. Being new to Casper, I could not help but notice all the sculptures around town. I decided to go on my own little scavenger hunt looking for all these works of art. From the statues along 2nd Ave to the T-Rex on the campus of Casper College, the town is bronzed with character.
It is the artistry and craftsmanship that draws me to these sculptures. The old west reflects in these works from “Spirit of Thunder Bird” to “The Pony Express” on the streets in Casper. Although the Pony Express is long gone, it history left its mark on this town.
