Sublette County Crews Join Search for Missing Man at Alcova
Sublette County crews are assisting and providing equipment in the search for a missing man at Alcova Reservoir.
Natrona County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Sean Ellis said the crew from Sublette County arrived Monday. With them, Sublette county searchers brought a larger sonar unit and a submersible.
As of Tuesday morning, the man, who reportedly fell from a boat while fishing, has not been found.
Ellis said strong winds hindered search efforts Monday. The man's name has not been released.
According to a Natrona County Sheriff's Office statement on Facebook Sunday, the call came in at 7 p.m. Saturday. Crews have since been searching Fremont Canyon area.
The public is asked to avoid the Fremont Canyon area as workers carry out the search.
