After watching local gasoline prices stay slightly but steadily high for the last few weeks, there is finally a little downward movement on the cost of a gallon of regular.

GasBuddy.com says the average price has dropped 2.9 cents per gallon. While the national average is down just 0.7 cents.

While the average price in Wyoming is $2.29, a search at Gasbuddy reveals the best prices in Cheyenne are $1.97 at Sapp Bros. 12500 I-80 Service Rd & US-30. Most other stations are slightly higher at $1.99.

In Casper, the $1.99 price at Sam’s Club is the lowest. Sinclair at E. 2nd & S. Jefferson is the next lowest at $2.04. The prices start to climb from there.
