Life-long Jackson Hole, Wyomingite Danny Shervin grew up with Grand Teton National Park as inspiration for his art. What sets Danny apart from other artists, is his medium. No oil, pastels or pen & ink, but instead, Shervin uses gunpowder and acrylic paint on canvas or wood.

You can visit his website or Facebook page.

One of his latest and biggest pieces is now hanging in the Wonder Art Spot in Jackson Wyoming.

If you think you’d like to try painting with gunpowder, think again… and again. But if you insist and think you can safely do-it-yourself… Wikihow says get your first art supplies at a gun shop.
