Sting’s Kid Rejects Gender Labels [VIDEO]

Being the offspring of one of the world’s best singer/songwriter/performers will get the attention of industry heavyweights and get your foot in the door for a career launch. It will also draw attention to your life. Former Police singer and bass player, Sting (Gordon Sumner) has a 25-year-old daughter Eliot Sumner, who has come out of the closet.  She's been dating women for two years, but doesn't identify with either gender.  She said she doesn't believe in "specifications." Makes no difference to me in the least.

Eliot also said she considers herself a "musician," but she knows she'll always be in the shadow of her parents. I don’t envy being in the shadow of such talent and success when you’re trying the same path. I doubt she’ll ever have to worry about where her next tuna sandwich is coming from, she is a child of privilege, so starvation or living on the street is not a threat.
