Suicidal Subject Call Leads To Two Drug Arrests In Casper
A welfare check on a person who may have been suicidal led Casper police officers to arrest two people on drug charges Thursday night.
Aaron Harmon, 39 and Tiffany Dorf, 36, were each arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Investigators with the Casper Police Department say just after 10 p.m. Thursday, December 29th, officers responded to a residence on Saint Mary Street for a possibly suicidal person.
The initial report was that Dorf was staying with Harmon, who is her ex-husband, and Harmon was making suicidal statements via Facebook.
When police arrived, Harmon allegedly knocked a corncob pipe onto the floor, then attempted to kick it under a table.
Officers reportedly detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the pipe, and later found a bong and several baggies of methamphetamine, according to the affidavit.
Both Harmon and Dorf allegedly denied ownership of the drug paraphernalia and were taken into custody.
